After completing my undergraduate studies at the University of Texas at Austin, I had the immense privilege of coming to Oxford as an Ertegun Scholar in 2016.  During my time at Oxford, I studied for an MSt in Jewish Studies, focusing specifically on 20th century European Jewish history.  My thesis was on marriage and family life in the Displaced Persons camps after the Holocaust.  Some of my favorite memories at Oxford include the weekly seminars and social events at Ertegun House and having the opportunity to exchange ideas with such an accomplished group of young humanities scholars.

Since graduating from Oxford in 2017, I have been studying for my Doctor of Jurisprudence degree at Stanford University.  In our free time, my husband and I enjoy camping, mountain biking, snowboarding, and hiking.

It is a singular honor to be a member of the vibrant Ertegun community.  I am incredibly grateful for the intellectual and financial support that the Ertegun scholarship provided me.  My time at Oxford as an Ertegun scholar will be of immense lifelong benefit, and for this I am very thankful!
